Stephanie French-Mischo is a member of the Writers’ Center of Indiana where she also studies and volunteers.  Her short fiction has appeared in the Winter 2005 issue of the defunct Beginnings Magazine and reached final consideration in a 2003 contest run by Carve Magazine.  She completed her Master’s in Microbiology at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002, where she won several awards for teaching.  Current projects include a third, unpublished novel, a garage band, and multiple short stories.
